    Colleagues

I am pleased to advise that the *Australian National Antimicrobial
Resistance Strategy* has been released by the Minister for Health and Sport
and the Minister for Agriculture. Copies are available at the following
    links:

    http://www.health.gov.au/amr and http://www.agriculture.gov.au

The College is a member of the Australian Strategic and Technical Advisory
Group on Antimicrobial Resistance (ASTAG) and has been heavily engaged in
the development of this national strategy. We welcome this initiative of
the Australian Government, and commend it to members of the College.

    Kind regards,
    Ramon
