Hi all,
We are interested in understanding approaches that your facility may be taking in relation to release from isolation (RFI) for COVID, removal of transmission-based precautions (TBP) and the role of retesting.
Can I ask if you might consider the following questions in particular?
* What patient group/s do you require PCR testing prior to removal of TBP (or RFI)?
* Do you define the group who may require testing to support RFI as per CDNA SONG or do you have a more limited group?
* How do you approach patients within the healthcare setting (inpatients and outpatients) with persisting acute respiratory symptoms beyond day 7 (or day 10) following their initial positive test?Any advice and approaches would be welcomed in this tricky space!
Kind regards
