Dear List members,
According to the Infection Control policy for NSW MOH, equipment which is shared between patients such as gluconometers must be cleaned between each patient use. Is this happening as a certainty in your hospitals and how do you monitor this fact? Or do you have a policy/ guideline which you use to ensure the cleaning happens and would be willing to share ?
Many thanks,
Rita
