    Dear ACIPC Members,

    Due to a high number of enrolments in our Foundations of Infection Prevention and Control for IPC Aged Care Leads course we are seeking more facilitators.

    You will need to have:

    * A Master’s Degree in a relevant area
    * Infection Prevention and Control clinical experience

    Experience of a Learning Management Platform, as a student or tutor/facilitator, is an advantage.

    The role involves facilitation of online learning for students undertaking an accelerated learning program of the FIPC course.

    All learning materials/resources are fully developed and available to students, i.e. video presentations, webinars, guided and recommended readings. Delivery of learning materials is not required.

    Duties:

    * facilitation of online discussions (6 out of 11 modules);
    * responding to Q and A forum – this is typically a very low volume;
    * essay preparation (review and feedback on draft essays 3000 words); and
    * essay marking using the ‘Grademark’ function within Turnitin and Moderation.

    Attractive rates of pay:

    * $70 per hour for 250 hours over the contract period for each cohort of 50 students.
    * Facilitators will have the option to work with multiple cohorts over the period.

    * It is expected that this will be conducted over 15-24 weeks depending on student activity.

    * Orientation and course familiarisation are built into the pay structure.

    Contracts will commence immediately upon appointment and facilitators will ideally be available over the November to June period.
