You are warmly invited to attend the Vascular Access Special Interest Group (VASIG) meeting, which will be held online on Wednesday 18 March at 3:00 PM AEDT (2:00 PM Queensland time). This is a free event offered online via Microsoft Teams.
Topic: Bundles, Guidelines, and Next Steps for the VASIG
Event Description:
This is the second meeting of the Vascular Access Special Interest Group (VASIG), and we are excited to welcome members back.
Professor Claire Rickard will open the meeting with a welcome and updates on VASIG activities. Dr Josie Lovegrove will introduce the concept of a shared repository for vascular access guidelines and policies that may be developed within VASIG. Dr Gillian Ray-Barruel will present a proposal to develop ACIPC position statements related to vascular access and will invite member input. Dr Evan Alexandrou will discuss potential educational offerings from VASIG and provide an update on the upcoming ACIPC conference. Finally, Catherine Baring, Paediatric Vascular Access Nurse Consultant at the Women’s & Children’s Hospital, and Athreides Bayalan (Butch), Associate Nurse Unit Manager at the North West Regional Hospital, will present on their vascular access services.
