Strengthen Catheter Infection Prevention

You are invited to participate in an international survey on current practices in the surveillance and prevention of infections related to peripheral and central venous catheters in acute care settings.

Although catheter-related infections (CLABSI) represent a major concern for patient safety, practices for their prevention and surveillance remain poorly documented globally. To help address this gap, the World Health Organization (WHO) has recently published new guidelines on peripheral venous catheters; furthermore, guidelines for central venous catheters are expected this summer.

Your participation in this survey will provide valuable insights into current practices and potential challenges in different healthcare contexts, thereby contributing to the development of future initiatives and interventions.

The survey takes approximately 10–15 minutes to complete.

The survey will close on 30.08.2025
