Can anyone please advise the definition/ function of a sterilising equipment room.
It is used in the NSW Engineering Services Guidelines (table 5 on page 57) with a negative pressure specification. The guideline does not have a definition of the purpose or function of steriliser equipment roomI am currently looking at a ventilation report which identifies a room with steriliser (loading/unloading/cooling zone) as a ‘sterilising equipment room’. This does not make sense as these are all clean room functions and the clean room has a positive pressure specification.

Hi Lesley,
I believe that refers to the sterilizer plant room that should be at a negative pressure to the clean areas.
Kind Regards
