Hi everyone
I’m after some advice on reprocessing infant feeding equipment used in powder formula preparation. Our facility does not use commercially prepared formula, all infant formula is prepared by Catering Services. Could you give me advice on whether jugs, spoons, bowls whisks etc used in preparation of infant formula are considered semi critical items and should be processed by high level disinfection.
WA have a policy dated 2012 which states they are semi critical items.
Your thoughts?
