    Hi everyone,

As a follow up to a previous post re mask reprocessing, my colleagues in the Netherlands have outlined their procedures.

Provided to you in case we need to consider this at a later date.

Also, a major mask manufacturer has some incredible resources on masks https://www.3m.com/3M/en_US/worker-health-safety-us/all-stories/full-story-detail/?storyid8855304f-01cb-4af2-8937-83096cdb4113 that I am sure may provide useful.

I am being asked a number of questions about correct levels of surgical masks along with whether staff working in Day Surgeries should be fit tested for P2/N95 if assisting with aerosol generating procedures etc – probably a moot point now given today’s announcement.

Similarly consulting room staff have been asking if it is ‘ok’ to wear respirators and retain them for later use, i.e. the next day.

This pandemic has raised all sorts of issues and I hope once the world is on the way to recovery, we can develop resources to address some of the questions raised during this tumultuous period.

    Kind Regards
