This research is being conducted by Dr Ben Smith and A/prof Steven Tong at
the Victorian Infectious Diseases Service (Royal Melbourne Hospital).The purpose of this work is to better understand regional variation in
influenza management and is part of a larger project aimed at improving
influenza identification in the hospital setting. Establishing an evidence
base to help optimise influenza screening may benefit infection prevention
teams through increased detection of infectious patients while minimizing
unnecessary respiratory isolation.Survey link: http://j.mp/2MO0QOU
This survey will take 5 – 10 minutes to complete with no requirement for
further follow up.Please note distribution of this survey has been approved by the College.
