Hi Wendy,
I spoke to our OT NUM and fortunately we haven’t had any issues with
holes or splits. What she did mention was that they use a transport
tray for heavy items like orthopaedic sets. It is supplied free of
charge from the manufacturer of our polypropylene wrap. I hope this helps.

Currently at the Canberra Hospital we are experiencing problems related to the surgical wrap developing small holes and splits.
I am wondering has anyone else had issues around this in their CSD or Operating Rooms. If any one has had this issue I am wondering f you would share your solution to resolve this.
