Dr Murphy served as APIC President and has an extensive global professional career in Infection Prevention and Control spanning more than 25 years. Congratulations to Cath for this deserved award. Personally, Cath has been a support to me throughout my career, and her passion and dedication to infection prevention and control in Australia and overseas has been an example to many Australian and overseas infection control and prevention personnel.
