ACIPC collaborates with ASUM to produce new Guidelines for Reprocessing Ultrasound Transducers
We’re delighted to announce the release of the new guidelines, developed in collaboration with the Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine (ASUM).
As ultrasound continues to expand across diverse clinical environments, clear and consistent disinfection standards are essential to maintaining patient safety and supporting practitioner confidence. These updated guidelines provide practical, evidence-informed direction to strengthen infection prevention and control practices across ultrasound services.
We extend our sincere thanks to the working group and all contributors for their expertise and commitment to advancing safety standards in ultrasound practice.
