The Annual General Meeting of the Australasian College for Infection Prevention and Control Ltd was held on 18 November 2025 during the annual conference.
Outgoing President, A/Prof Stéphane Bouchoucha presented the ACIPC 2025 Annual Report and Financial Statements, showing that the College is in a strong position financially, enabling it to continue planning confidently for the future.
At the meeting, two new Board Directors were appointed and we congratulate Kathy Dempsey and Nicole Vause, The College farewelled former Kristie Popkiss, who is stepping down after 8 years of service as Director, President-Elect, President and Past-President. Thank you, Kristie,
Nicola Isles was elected as ACIPC’s new President-Elect and of course, we welcome our new President Dr Sally Havers.
