Victoria SIG July Meeting

You are warmly invited to attend the Victoria Special Interest Group (VIC SIG) meeting on Friday, 17 July 2026 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM AEST.

This a free event open to ACIPC members only.

The meeting will be offered in-person and online via Microsoft Teams. A light breakfast will be provided for those who attend in person, which will be served before the meeting. Breakfast is kindly sponsored by GAMA Healthcare.

Topic: Learnings from a recent potential viral haemorrhagic fever case to a non-designated hospital

Event Description:
The current outbreak of Ebola in the Democratic Republic of The Congo and Uganda has again highlighted the need for preparedness planning for potential of cases with a viral haemorrhagic fever. Monash Health and Melbourne Health have recently had to put their planning to the test with the presentation of a potential Ebola case to Monash Medical Centre. The teams will discuss how they managed this event and the learnings they have taken from it.
