Dr Robert Norton is the Director of Pathology and Microbiology at Townsville University Hospital, Queensland. He has worked in a variety of clinical positions including remote Australian indigenous communities in the Top End of Australia. In his current capacity, he has collaborated with researchers locally and nationally on projects relating to Melioidosis, Q fever and Rheumatic fever.
