Hi Everyone,
Please be informed of a wonderful new Sunday workshop at this years ACIPC Scientific conference. It will be a wonderful day, with great hosts. There are still places available if you would like to attend.
Design Thinking Masterclass
Hosts/Presenters: Prof Lisa Hall & Jackie Miley
In this interactive workshop we will introduce design thinking as a practical approach for tackling contemporary issues in infection prevention and control and antimicrobial stewardship. Suited to participants across practice, research, policy, advocacy and industry, the session builds capacity to develop collaborative, innovative solutions to shared problems. Participants will learn how to use design thinking to reframe issues, break down silos and work towards innovative, implementable solutions.
This is a hands-on, in person masterclass in human-centred design thinking for One Health. Through short case studies and hands-on group activities, participants will work through the five phases of design thinking — empathise, define, ideate, prototype and test — using a toolkit developed by SAAFE CRC with UNEP. At the end of the workshop participants will have access to a whole toolkit of templates to take back and use. Suitable for conference attendees from all settings and backgrounds, including acute care, public health, vets, aged care, consumer and industry reps.
