Note: The webster pack would only be able to contain cytotoxic meds, no others and be labelled accordingly. Not stored with other meds.This is demonstrated on the Cytotoxic labelling controls and medication storage controls powerpoint slide.

Yes, Nitrile gloves would still be required with the non touch technique (just the same as if it came out of a bottle). This is demonstrated on the Cytotoxic medication administration powerpoint slide – oral agents. Its important to be aware that the outside of the webster pack may have residual medication particles (from open blisters) and just getting the webster pack out of the snap lock bag could result in hand contamination if gloves not worn.

Yes, the gloves are cytotoxic waste and so is the med cup – by definition any waste that has been contaminated by cytotoxic substance is cytotoxic waste. See the cytotoxic waste power point slide.
