Photo competition winners! 

Congratulations to Flinders Private Hospital, winners of our 2025 World Hand Hygiene Day photo competition.

They had hand hygiene goddesses ‘on hand’ educating hospital staff and patients. Their winged crowns are made from hands instead of feathers, a great way to provide fun ‘hands-on’ education to encourage hand hygiene compliance!

Well done team, and your custom-engraved trophy will be delivered to you soon.

There were some incredibly creative and energised celebrations and we’re looking forward to sharing some images in this month’s edition of IPC News.

Big thanks to everyone who entered, it’s wonderful to see your creativity in action, so many wonderful ideas for making hand hygiene as fun as it is important.
