Register now for ASID CRN 2026

The Australasian Society for Infectious Diseases (ASID) invites you to register for the 2026 ASID Clinical Research Network Meeting.

Date: 7 – 8 August 2026

Location: Health Translation Hub, University of NSW, Randwick, Sydney

The meeting provides a national platform for investigator-initiated research that is practice-changing, collaborative, and focused on improving patient outcomes.

This year’s program places a strong emphasis on novel and adaptive clinical trial methodologies, translational research, and innovation across diverse clinical settings. A core priority of the CRN remains the support and development of early- and mid-career clinician researchers, with dedicated sessions designed to foster skills, networks, and leadership in clinical research.

We are delighted to welcome Professor Susanna Naggie (Duke University, USA), Deputy Editor of Clinical Infectious Diseases, as our international keynote speaker. Professor Naggie is a global leader in pragmatic and innovative trial design, viral hepatitis research, and implementation science, with particular expertise in large-scale public health interventions, including work aligned with triple elimination strategies. Her insights will provide valuable perspectives on advancing high-impact research from concept to practice.

The ASID CRN Meeting continues to serve as a forum for scientific excellence, clinical relevance, and research capacity building, strengthening Australia’s infectious diseases research ecosystem and its global connections.
