Hello Everyone,
Professor Ramon Shaban and his team at the University of Sydney are conducting an important research initiative designed to best support you and your team in protecting your residents and staff from communicable diseases and healthcare associated infections in your residential aged care home (RACH).
Please click this link to watch a short video that describes our initiative and the vital role you can play in helping us to support you to provide the best possible infection prevention and control (IPC) care to your residents and their families.
This study is solely about you, your staff and the residents and families that you serve. Our goal is to support you to provide the best possible care to your residents and their families.
We are inviting all Infection Control Leads at all RACHs across Australia to participate in this study. You can participate if you meet one or more of the following criteria:
1. You are the designated IPC lead or infection control professional within a residential aged care home; or
2. You are a manager in an aged care organisation with responsibility for IPC oversight.To participate, please complete the 2-minute survey via the link below.
