    Hi everyone,
In a residential aged care setting, what is the correct protocol for disposing of used PPE worn by staff when caring for a resident who is Rhinovirus-positive?
Should used PPE be disposed of in general waste (black bags), or does it need to go into clinical waste?

Also, for residents who use shaving razors in residential aged care homes, should these be disposed of in general waste, or in a sharps container?

    Thanks in advance.
