Do Covid residents clothing need to be in a soluble seam bag? – My understanding is that unless it is soiled with infectious vomit or faeces it can go in the normal wash. Just as dishes and cutlery can go through the normal cycle in a dishwasher. We would encourage clothing to be put it into yellow laundry bags to alert the staff that it is coming from the infectious room but only into a soluble bag if has infectious material on it.

Checking that PPE from Covid outbreak can go into general rubbish bags? Yes that is correct.
