Global Survey One Health & Planetary Health

World Veterinary Association launches global survey on One Health and Planetary Health education

The World Veterinary Association (WVA) and collaborating partners have launched a rapid, multilingual global survey examining how One Health and Planetary Health principles are being taught, understood, and applied across the health workforce.

While recognition of these interconnected approaches has grown worldwide, measurable evidence of how well they are integrated into education and professional training remains limited. This survey aims to close that gap, capturing a synchronised global snapshot of current educational and professional preparedness for interdisciplinary collaboration on emerging diseases, environmental change, ecosystem disruption, and other complex health challenges.

Students and professionals across veterinary medicine, medicine, nursing, dentistry, public health, and global health are invited to take part. Taking around 10 minutes, the survey will inform evidence-based recommendations aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, helping strengthen interdisciplinary education and global health security.
