Mater Private Hospital Townsville is seeking a highly experienced Registered Nurse to join their Quality and Safety team as an Infection Control Officer
Reporting to the Quality and Safety Manager, the successful applicant will be based at our Pimlico campus and work on a permanent part time basis 36 hours a week.
In this role you will provide clinical leadership, expert consultancy and strategic direction in infection prevention and control across Mater Health Services. You will lead the delivery of a proactive, evidence-based IPC service that enhances patient safety and reduces healthcare-associated infections across our hospitals. Working across clinical practice, education and research, you will play a critical role in ensuring our organisation meets national standards, public health requirements, and continuously improves infection control outcomes statewide.
Salary range: $57.48 – $61.55 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
