Shaping the Next Australian IPC Guidelines

The Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Healthcare is developing the third edition of the Australian Guidelines for the Prevention and Control of Infections in Healthcare

They are seeking feedback on revised clinical practice recommendations and new good practice statements to inform the development of the next edition and invite interested stakeholders to review the proposed changes and provide feedback during the consultation period from 31 August to 29 September 2026.

Your input will help shape the third edition of the Guidelines, due for release in 2027.
