Care Delivery Evidence Collection Tool (CDECT) resources have been updated and published by the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission
The evidence requirement changes surrounding IPC include – communication material for workers and older people, IPC lead completed training, workers/volunteers’ vaccination/immunisation, cleaning and environmental and equipment audits, worker induction and training
Providers are recommended to review the changes to ensure ongoing evidence to demonstrate compliance.
