Hi ACIPC Members – I received an enquiry from a lapsed member of the College
seeking assistance. If you are able to offer any guidance, please contact
    Rachael directly.

    Thanks all.

    Hi,

I was hoping the College might have some specific guidance on the
appropriate storage & handling of medication/ pharmaceuticals on designated
COVID wards? There is information available from various guidelines about
personal & environmental precautions & cleaning but none that I could find
specifically on how to safely treat medication that may have been stored in
supply rooms on COVID wards or in patient rooms.

Myself & my ID team are drafting an advisory notice for our HHS but would
like to be able to reference something specific.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers,

    Rachael
