Session 1:            Outcomes of the REACH Trial

Aim: To provide an update on the outcomes of the Researching Effective Approaches to Cleaning in Hospitals (REACH) trial, which FSH participated in from December 2016 – July 2017.

Objective: Participants will be able to discuss the preliminary findings of the REACH trial and review the implications for infection prevention  practice of these findings

Speaker:              Alison Farrington, Research Project Manager, REACH trial

The session will be followed by Q & A with Dawn Smith, SERCO FSH Hospitality Auditor and Trainer

Session 2:  Meet our College Director Kristie Popkiss, Infection Prevention and Clinical Operations Manager, SERCO FSH

Aim: Kristie will describe her role at ACIPC and current activities of the College

Objective: Participants will have an increased awareness of a director’s role and current College undertakings with an opportunity for discussion

The session will be followed by afternoon tea to allow participants to network and catch up with their fellow colleagues.
