Annual Conference

Members receive discounted registration for the annual conference. The annual conference is the College’s main educational activity and is Australasia’s larges meeting of IPC professionals and industry representatives.

Education and Professional Development

The College provides educational and professional development opportunities to equip individuals and organisations with the skills and knowledge needed to deliver infection prevention and control services in healthcare facilities and the wider community. Members receive discounts for ACIPC Educational activities. 

Members Only Area

ACIPC members can login to view member only resources including webinars, videos, IPC guidelines, and ACIPC Special Interest Group information. Members can also update details and read and share personal and professional news. 

ACIPC Journal

Members receive the College’s journal, Infection, Disease and Health. The journal publishes original research into infectious diseases, old and new, emerging and endemic, with a focus on the interface between human, animal and environmental factors.

Updates & Newsletters

Members receive updates on emerging issues and topics, as well as a monthly eNewsletter.

Credentialling

Credentialling provides a career pathway for IPC professionals as well as recognition for individuals who deal with IPC in their workplace. Members who have achieved a level of expertise and qualification are invited to apply to be Credentialled members of the College.

Credentialled members are invited to represent the College where expert opinion is sought, to assist in the development of position papers and in mentoring newly qualified Infection Control Professionals.

Scholarships and Awards

A number of scholarships are awarded annually for members wishing to attend or present at conferences,
undertake further education or for research. 

International scholarships for those working in infection prevention in developing countries throughout Australasia are also available.

The Elaine Graham Robertson Award is presented at the Annual Conference and recognises a member who has made an outstanding contribution to IPC.

ACIPC Fellowship

Fellowship of the Australasian College of Infection Prevention and Control (ACIPC) is a prestigious member status awarded to Infection Prevention and Control Professionals in recognition of significant professional achievement. Fellowship recognises the experience, contribution and standing of Infection Prevention and Control Professionals to ACIPC and the profession.

Infexion Connexion and SIGS

Members can join Infexion Connexion, ACIPC’s email discussion list, to stay up-to-date and participate in the IPC conversation.

Members can join State and Interest based Special Interest Groups (SIGS
